On Saturday, in a mad rush, I made my way down to North Hobart, at the last minute I had decided to head to the movies. I had heard a lot about the boutique theatre and was in the mood for a love story. The State was great! I love that each cinema is small and cosy and that you can take in your glass of wine or beer and some yummy treats!
The movie itself was fairly predictable in plot, but the scenery of Italy was worth it. Our favourite city in Italy was Verona, and we have great memories of being in Tuscany and Siena, so it was lovely to be transported back. All in all it was a lovely Saturday afternoon spent at the State. Checkout www.statecinema.com.au for the latest showings or pick up a brochure from outside the cinema itself.
