Yesterday morning was sooooo cold, even wrapped up in a down vest and wooly hat I was still freezing while walking around the stalls! I do love being at Salamanca Market though, I love the hustle and bustle, the smells and sounds and the excitement of finding something lovely. And there are so many lovely people selling so many lovely things that every week there is a buzz about the place.
So far I have only brought a few select things, one being a very lovely ring made from the end of a vintage spoon, which I adore and wear every day. Also some exremely delicious soap...yes delicious, as it is nearly yummy enough to eat! The soap company is Natural Infusion and their soaps are all natural and have such wonderful names as 'Mother Earth', 'Sweet Thing' and 'Mr Spice'. They also sell 'Stubble Buster' which is a shaving cake which Andy just loves...works wonders with a proper shaving brush and doesn't dry out the skin. Definitely delicious soap!
After the market I spent a lovely afternoon in the sun in the back garden and it was lovely. It was spent with a good book, a new magazine, my journal and a yummy bottle of 'Emma and Toms' wellbeing water. Just Lovely.
