Hi there and welcome to Love Hobart, my blog about our time living the city life in Hobart, Tasmania. My husband Andy and I have moved here from a little ski resort village, Methven, in the South Island of New Zealand. Check out my other blog, www.lovemethven.com. We are lucky enough to be house sitting a lovely house that over looks the city and is just minutes walk away from the CBD, North Hobart and my favourite spot, Hill Street Grocers.
We have been here for two weeks now and I am starting to know my way around, although I still get lost...I seem to lose my bearings in the very centre of the city...However, I usually manage to find my way home. This quite often is aided by a piccolo latte, my new coffee of choice since we have arrived, short and to the point!
So I plan for Love Hobart to be a journal of sorts of our life here, recording the places we visit, restaurants we eat in, cafes we drink coffee in and shops that I will no doubt be spending money in! I hope you enjoy reading about us and our Hobart adventures.
